 A week on a waveless island in the south pacific is relaxing...


But snorkeling and kayaking can only entertain for so long.  After a few days thoughts returned to climbing and skiing. 


Both activities were promptly attended to the day of return.

This dog decided she doesn't want to be left alone when I go out climbing.  So she jumped out of a second story window, bounced however high off of the deck below, and ran off to go find me.  
Coyotes, Bears, Mountain Lions, Racoons, Snakes, broken legs, whatever...I couldn't sleep.

How about a (relatively) quick drive up the coast to Goat Rock? The troops gathered and set off.But something set off a fire - shutting down Hwy 1... Charleston's Hood, left my fingers aching from pulling on pockets that were countered by few if any slick limestone smears for the feet to push against.
