Relief & The Next Psyche

This dog decided she doesn't want to be left alone when I go out climbing.  So she jumped out of a second story window, bounced however high off of the deck below, and ran off to go find me.

Coyotes, Bears, Mountain Lions, Racoons, Snakes, broken legs, whatever...I couldn't sleep.

30 hours later, approximately 18 of which I spent on a bike riding every street in town (paved and not), I found her on the road to Way Lake.  My legs were tired and my voice was shot, but what a relief.  The wolf-pack below didn't help.  In fact, they weren't any help at all.  They tried to duct-tape me to a tree and called it a night.

Thanks guys.

Speaking of relief - the wrist is mostly healed - at least enough to get out and climb like I've been daydreaming about for months now.  A quick trip to Bear Creek Spire served as the warm-up. A follow up car-to-car trip to the Hulk was...so good, and will likely be the highlight of this season.

Positive Vibrations, what an amazing route.

Being out there makes me feel giddy.   There's SO MUCH out there to do. Beyond inspiring.

The mountain light is shifting and the leaves are beginning to turn.
Maybe one or two more trips out there until the snow falls.
And then...the next psyche.
